Sunderland Co-operative Inc. has an opportunity in our Energy Division.
We are currently seeking an Energy Sales Consultant based out of our Lindsay location.
This Full-Time position offers mobility within Sunderland Co-operative Inc., witha competitive compensation package; including an attractive base salary, commission,company vehicle, pension plan, bonus eligibility, and company-paid healthbenefits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solicits new petroleum and propane accountswithin the territory as well as converting existing accounts within theterritory.
- Solicits new cardlock accounts within theterritory as well as converting existing accounts to the cardlock program.
- Obtain necessary documentation and authorizationson all current and outstanding Equipment Loan Agreements (ELA’s).
- Prepare and obtain appropriate signatures forRegulation paperwork.
- Ensures all regulatory paperwork is up todate and compliant.
- Secures new customers when ownership changesor operations (i.e. farm) amalgamate.
- Provides market intelligence to the Director,Sales and Marketing.
- Provides weekly/monthly progress/activityreports as required.
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge base ofcurrent legislative changes within the industry as well as current trends inproduct marketing.
- Ensures that standards are maintained inrelation to all loaned storage, pumping equipment, cardlock facilities andcustomer training on operating the cardlock system.
- Understands and complies with the establishedhealth and safety policies and procedures.
- Represents the company in a competent andprofessional manner.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

- Generally, requires a fundamental knowledge of the sales process.
- Ideally has 1–3-year(s) experience within the area of petroleum sales.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Working conditions vary from a controlledoffice environment to working outside in all seasons
- A considerable amount of travel is required.
