Garth joined the Peterborough District Co-op, as General Manager in 2004. A decade later, he played an integral role in the amalgamation of Peterborough & Sunderland Co-operatives. During his tenure at Sunderland Co-op, he’s been General Manager and most recently Division Manager – Retail, where he’s lead his team to top line sales each year! His keen eye for numbers & retail merchandising have been instrumental to his, and our, success.

Garth also lead the renovation efforts in all three of our store locations (Sunderland, Oakwood, and Peterborough), and helped turn these stores into very clean, organized, and professional spaces for our staff and patrons to enjoy.

Garth and his wife Mary Jane have coordinated their retirements together and look forward to enjoying time away on many camping trips and spending quality time with their children and grandchildren.
